KITCHISIBI WATERSHED GOVERNANCE
Community-Based Research
Working with Wolf Lake First Nation, this project engaged Algonquin Anishinaabeg on what it means to be in good relation with Kitchisibi.
FIRST NATION EDUCATION TRANSFORMATION K-12
Community Engagement
As a part of a team of facilitators for the Chiefs of Ontario, this went to First Nations to provide information on the K-12 Education Transformation process.
EXPLORING SECTION 10 OF THE INDIAN ACT
Research & Analysis
This peer-reviewed paper consisted of gathering, coding and analyzing court decisions, literature and news articles relating to Section 10 of the Indian Act.
THE LEARNING PARTNERSHIP
Curriculum Development
Working from the basis of Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action, this project consisted of analyzing and putting input into proposed secondary school curriculum for two school boards in Ontario.
FIRST NATIONS CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT
Good Governance
This project consisted of building a First Nation economic development corporation from the ground up. This included writing articles of incorporation and providing board training.
CULTURAL PRODUCTION
Assessment
As a part of the City of Kingston's Indigenous public art jury, this project consisted of working with other Indigenous artists and Alderville First Nation to assess applications and proposals, and decide upon the successful artist submission.
